15 minute appointments allow plenty of time for you to discuss your concerns regarding your pet's health, and for your pet to say hello!

Begbroke Veterinary Surgery can provide all routine health care to protect against fleas, worms and mites for dogs, cats, rabbits, small furries and reptiles.

Routine vaccinations for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets provided. Please see pet passports/travel clinic for rabies and leishmaniasis vaccinations if you are planning to travel abroad with your pet.

Pets that require ongoing medication for certain illnesses can collect their medications from our pharmacy. We kindly ask you to give us 24 hours notice so we can dispense this medication.

Please note that we are required to re-examine animals periodically by law to assess their medication. Usually this is set at 6 monthly intervals, however some medications are subject to closer monitoring. Please contact us should you have any concerns.

Castration and speying of dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries is available at this clinic. For dogs over 15kg, key hole spey is available at our Chipping Norton Hospital. Please contact us for more details.

Our operating theatre allows for the majority of day surgery cases to be performed here at Begbroke Vets. All surgery will be discussed with you during a prior consultation first.

We stock micro ID chips allowing all species to be microchipped. This can be performed by both vets and nurses.

Our vets are certified to provide travel documents for travel to Europe or further afield. Rabies vaccinations can be provided as can leishmaniasis vaccination if required.

Please note there are strict laws and time frames regarding pet travel. Please make sure you allow enough time to complete the necessary checks required. We advise booking an appointment with us and checking the pet travel page of the GOV.UK website for up to date requirements.

We can provide dental x-rays and routine dental health care for dogs and cats.

We are able to provide a number of diagnostic tests here at Begbroke. Some of our testing may need to be run at our main hospital site in Chipping Norton, but the necessary samples can be collected at Begbroke’s clinic.

We also have links to excellent external laboratories.

We have facilities to ultrasound scan dogs, cats and smaller pets on site.

If you have a veterinary emergency when we are closed overnight or at weekends, please call our usual number (01865 595199) and follow the instructions given. Our main hospital site in Chipping Norton shares out of hours duties with the Hook Norton Veterinary Surgery.
